Spirit Week!
This in one of the busiest weeks of the Quest fall term, Spirit Week. Middle School has orchestrated a week of different daily-themes and special events culminating with an outing to Clark Farm on Friday and then our Admissions Open House and Family Fall Festival are on Sunday. It’s one long celebration of our school and community, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for what looks like perfect weather to showcase and enjoy our special slice of Narragansett.
The Quest Day
One of our goals this year is to provide families with a clearer picture of their child’s day at school. Many parents wonder, “What happens after I drop off my child each morning?” You know your child is happy to come to school (some literally running in the door) and that they are happy when they come home, but what exactly are they doing all day? This age-old riddle can be solved. If you haven’t yet read our new series “The Quest Montessori Day” I invite you to take a look. This photo-journalistic time capsule of the Quest day showcases the different levels, and the symmetry that exists through the stages of our program. We also love to have you in to observe our classrooms. Some schools won’t let you past the front desk, but we actually welcome you in to observe it in action. We value our parent partnerships!
The Hands of the Child
Next week, Elementary and Primary parents have a wonderful opportunity to learn from their children at our Primary: Hands of the Child on Tuesday afternoon and Elementary Lesson Night on Wednesday evening. Following these in-depth events are Parent-Teacher conferences where I invite you again to be an active participant. This is the time to ask questions and let us know what is on your mind.
I hope you will invite a friend to experience Quest this weekend. Our Open House and Fall Festival are the perfect way to not only see the school and meet the staff, but also to get a taste of the dynamic Quest community. I look forward to seeing you there!
