We traveled to Saunderstown and set two traps to catch new species for our saltwater classroom tank using hot dogs as bait. While there, we released some of our silversides and crabs from an earlier trip and replaced them with a killifish, a smaller crab and some shrimp for observation. We talked about ocean tides and were able to identify sea lavender and different grasses as we walked.
